Workspace ONE 2604 Deployment Update

I’m sharing this because there’s now a safer, more controlled way to roll out apps at scale in Workspace ONE UEM — and it changes how teams should plan, monitor, and automate their app deployments.

Omnissa has made Phased Deployment generally available in Workspace ONE UEM version 2604, turning a previously limited‑availability feature into a core capability for staged application rollouts. This workflow lets admins gradually push apps, watch real‑time installation metrics, and pause or resume the rollout if problems surface — reducing risk and giving teams more visibility and control over deployments rather than blasting apps out to the entire fleet at once.

While the official release notes and documentation are available on Omnissa’s site, community discussion confirms that Phased Deployment now supports metrics and pause controls so issues can be caught early and “blast radius” is minimized compared to traditional assignment‑group rollouts

If you’re managing apps at scale, consider testing this feature in a staging org first, plan your phase groups and progression strategy, and review the relevant release notes and phased‑deployment documentation to align automation hooks and reporting dashboards before enabling it in production. https://docs.omnissa.com/bundle?labelkey=release_notes&labelkey=workspaceone_one_uem_release_notes
