Omnissa had a busy public update window across Horizon, Workspace ONE, Unified Access Gateway, Intelligence, Tunnel, Hub, TechZone, and now the public Knowledge Base. Here is what is worth noticing and what it may mean for admins planning upgrades, endpoint strategy, support readiness, and day-two operations.
What changed this week
The largest documentation movement was around Horizon 8 2603 and adjacent Horizon client/admin documentation. The release notes and guide refreshes point to a broad Horizon platform update: Cloud Pod Architecture routing improvements, additional entitlement visibility across non-federated pods, console and agent improvements, updated client behavior, and important upgrade sequencing notes.
Workspace ONE and Omnissa endpoint products also saw several release-note updates. Workspace ONE UEM release notes were refreshed across 2602, 2509, and 2410; Hub Services added upcoming notification capabilities; Intelligence added HP warranty integration; Intelligent Hub for Android, Tunnel, Assist, Omnissa Pass, Unified Access Gateway, and dux all had current release-note activity.
TechZone added a Windows modernization planning signal: "Management Mode Options for Workspace ONE Windows Devices." The guide explains Registered mode, Intelligent Hub Managed mode, and Full MDM with OMA-DM, which gives teams a more practical way to think about mixed Windows estates.
The KB crawl adds a support-facing layer to the week. Omnissa Horizon 8 2603 Release Notes
The Horizon 8 release notes are the anchor update this week. Horizon 8 2603 adds next preferred site logic for Cloud Pod Architecture, published apps from unmanaged manual pools, entitlement aggregation across non-federated pods, SAML metadata configuration at the CPA level, and EC certificate support for the vdm certificate. The release also brings console, Linux Agent, Windows Agent, remote desktop feature, and OS Optimization Tool changes.
What it could mean: Horizon admins should read the upgrade notes before scheduling maintenance. The Nutanix pairing note and the vSphere lifecycle guidance are the kind of details that can turn a routine upgrade into a sequencing problem if they are missed.
Horizon Cloud Release Notes
Horizon Cloud was updated on April 24. The recent release notes include Azure cost insights, released component versions, and service-release details for Horizon Cloud Service - next-gen.
What it could mean: Horizon Cloud customers running Azure capacity should review Cost Insights as a governance and optimization feature, not just a reporting enhancement. It may help validate pool policies and identify waste.

Workspace ONE UEM Release Notes
Workspace ONE UEM release notes for 2602, 2509, and 2410 were updated. Highlights across those pages include the new UEM console experience, queued wipe cancellation, Android eSIM management, read-only settings access, Cisco ISE integration for randomized MAC scenarios, API Explorer changes, Modern SaaS Architecture updates for MSP partners, and many patch fixes.

Workspace ONE Hub Services Release Notes
Hub Services now previews email as a notification channel using bring-your-own SMTP, plus the ability to send notifications to multiple groups of the same audience type.
What it could mean: Employee communications can become more resilient. If push is disabled or unreliable on some endpoints, email can become a fallback channel for high-priority Hub notifications.
Omnissa Intelligence Release Notes
Intelligence 26.04.20 introduces HP Warranty integration, allowing HP warranty and service entitlement data to feed dashboards, reports, and workflows.
What it could mean: This gives IT a better path to combine device health, warranty state, and automation. It is useful for lifecycle planning, refresh prioritization, and proactive support.
Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for Android
The Android Hub 26.03 release notes include EID collection for Android 15+ devices, full-screen urgent notification behavior on locked devices, new custom attribute reporting for Zebra Omnissa MX Service installation status, improved compromised-device logging, more resilient Hub check-in, and OpenSSL 3.x libraries.
What it could mean: Android fleet operators get better eSIM preparation, better urgent-message delivery, and more troubleshooting telemetry.
Workspace ONE Tunnel for Android and macOS
Tunnel for Android 26.03 adds support for zero-downtime Tunnel server certificate rotation and richer client access logs. Tunnel for macOS 25.11 adds IPv6 CIDR notation in Device Traffic Rules and the ability to upload Tunnel client logs to UEM.
What it could mean: Tunnel operations should get cleaner maintenance windows, better diagnostics, and improved support for IPv6-aware policies.

Unified Access Gateway 2603
Unified Access Gateway 2603 adds support for larger Horizon 8 deployments, OIDC improvements, automatic JWKS refresh, SAML HTTP Artifact Binding, OS hardening improvements, multiple TLS certificate matching changes, and password policy improvements.
What it could mean: UAG admins should review authentication, certificate, and scale assumptions before upgrading. The SAML and OIDC changes are particularly relevant for identity-heavy deployments.
Omnissa Pass for Android
Omnissa Pass 26.03 adds device status reporting into Omnissa Access and improves the sign-in approval flow so users can approve from the app without first tapping the push notification.
What it could mean: Access admins get better posture visibility for authenticator devices, while users get a smoother MFA experience.
Omnissa dux
The dux 3.0 release notes highlight OAuth support for Workspace ONE API communication, outbound proxy support, and a required Tunnel container manifest upgrade. The dux 2.2 notes include local administration without SSH and an exec-shell command for direct container access.
What it could mean: Tunnel server administration is moving toward stronger API authentication and more flexible deployment operations. Teams using dux should check manifest requirements before upgrading.
TechZone: Management Mode Options for Workspace ONE Windows Devices
